Monetary donations will be collected during this time and the proceeds will be given to various groups in need during the holiday season. Checks should be made out to Circles of Grace with Cookie Walk in the memo. Checks can be mailed to Sandy Martin, 1768 580th St, Storm Lake, put in her church mailbox, or dropped in the offering plate. Thank you for supporting this mission.
CHRISTMAS DECORATING AT CHURCH – Deborah Circle is again inviting church members to help decorate for Christmas on Saturday, November 29th. We hope it will again be a fun night of fellowship, starting with decorating the church for Christmas, a shorten church service, and a potluck meal. Deborah Circle ladies will
divide up around the church to lead in the different tasks for decorating. There are maybe 6 or 7 different tasks and the Deborah Circle ladies will have a sheet of instructions to follow. Sort of like small groups working on separate jobs. And if you’ve just come for the fellowship that’s okay too.
Along with helping us, the Elders and Trustees will hang the garland and large Chrismon ornaments from the sanctuary walls, plus set up the outside nativity.
The main dish for the meal will be provided, but if you are able and willing, bring a salad, dessert or Christmas treat to share. Please come and join us….hope to see you on Saturday, November 29th.
PANCAKE SUPPER – St. John, SL is hosting a Pancake Supper on November 16 from 5 – 7 PM. Tickets are $6, Children 5 and under – Free. They will be serving Pancakes, Sausages, Applesauce, and Beverages. Proceeds will be given to The Swaddling Clothes Program at St. John.

Greetings from Camp Okoboji! After 10 years of faithful and joy-filled service, our wonderful Reservationist, Joy Wolfram, has announced her retirement on December 31, 2025. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, her caring spirit, and the way she has made every guest feel welcome at Camp Okoboji. As we celebrate Joy and wish her well in this next chapter, we invite you to join us in a Retirement Card Shower in her honor. Please consider sending Joy a card or note of appreciation to: Camp Okoboji, Attn: Joy Wolfram, 1531 Edgewood Dr.
Milford, IA 51351
Your kind words and memories will mean so much to her as she reflects on her time at Camp Okoboji and prepares for retirement.
