VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – September is Meals-On-Wheels Month at Grace! Drivers are needed to deliver meals for the 4 weeks in September. To volunteer call Karen at 712-229-0696 or Jan Hallergren at 732-5158. Thank you for helping with this necessary service for the home-bound in the Storm Lake community.
75TH ANNIVERSARY MEETING – Mark your calendar. Tuesday, September 1st, at 6:30 PM Grace 75th Anniversary Meeting is planned. Please come with ideas to share with all.
FALL FESTIVAL – The Fall Festival at Grace will be Sunday, October 25th. Now is the time to start thinking about Silent Auction items you may want to contribute. More information to come.
ACH FORMS – ACH forms are available on the table in the Narthex if you are interested in having your offering automatically withdrawn from your account weekly or on the 1st Monday of the month. You can put your completed form in the church mailbox of Sandy Martin or Loren Pearson and contact us for any questions. Thank you!

October 9-10: CAMP OKOBOJI FALL VOLUNTEER WEEKEND
Fall Volunteer Weekend is a great way to share your time and talents while you enjoy God’s Creation at Camp Okoboji. Help prepare Camp Okoboji for the upcoming winter. Room and board will be provided for volunteers. Please save the date and make plans to come and help! For room and board accommodations, please call the office at (712) 337-3325!
ENGAGED IN MISSION – Engaged in Mission: Congregation and Community, September 18th -19th at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1844 Highland Dr., Carroll, IA. Please register by August 21 for the conference. Cost is $30. Speakers at Rev. Dr. Quintin Condiff and Dr. Heath Trampe. This is an opportunity for both pastors and laity to learn about, discuss, and consider how to be effectively engaged in God’s mission where they are. Mission is not far away because there are people in our communities who need to hear the Gospel and God has given us the opportunity to engage with them.
