CIRCLES OF GRACE GENERAL MEETING – The Circles of Grace General Meeting will be on Tuesday, September 23 starting with supper at 6 PM and the Circle Meeting to follow. All women of Grace are encouraged to attend.
COUNCIL MEETING AND CONGREGATIONAL MEETING – The Council and Congregational Meetings that are held the 2nd and 4th Sundays in October will be moved up one week. Because of all the events scheduled for Reformation Sunday on October 26th both meetings will be moved. Church Council will meet on October 5th at 11:15 AM and the Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 19th at 11 AM.
LWML SUNDAY – LWML Sunday will be held this year on October 5th. There will be a plate in the Narthex for a special offering (collection) for “Mites”. Some of the 2025/ 2027 Mission Grants include – Regional Disaster Response LERT Shower Trailers (Disaster Response Ministry, US), Portable Laundry Trailer (Forged by Fire Services, US), Christ-Centered Hope for Cancer Patients (Phil’s Friends, US), Building a Place of Care (Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch, North Dakota), NOT ALONE: Gospel Help for Families in Crisis (Lutheran Family Service, Iowa), plus several other organizations throughout the world are helped through your LWML mite offerings.

PARSONAGE ROOF – The final bill was $13,265. $1760.82 is all that is left to have the roof repair completely paid for. Checks should be made out to Grace Lutheran Church with roof repair written in the memo line. Thank you. Finance Committee
PRESCHOOL ANGEL PROGRAM – This year we have a family who needs some financial assistance. If you would be able to help this family you would give $25 a month or $225 for the year to go towards their tuition cost. If this is something that interests you please give Anne Mohr a call at 712-730-2590.
REMINDER – During Preschool hours 9 AM – 11:30 AM the doors to church will be locked for the safety of the children. If you need to come to the office during that time please call 732-5005.
MUSICAL HERITAGE CONCERT – St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurelia invites you to Our Musical Heritage Concert, September 21 at 3 pm: This will feature Melody Turnquist-Steed as the organist and Deaconess Sandra Rhein as choral director. We encourage all to attend this exciting event that will showcase Lutheran music throughout the centuries and from different countries!
FALL FESTIVAL – The Fall Festival will be held October 26th. It will be a Community Mission Outreach Dinner. Now is the time to start thinking of what you may wish to donate to the Silent Auction. It is requested that only new items be donated, not used or re-gifted. Thank you. When to drop off auction items and other details will be coming soon. Grace will also be hosting a Reformation Service at 3 PM that same day.
